I really need to live by the sea
I’ll have to speak to Laura
we need to plan where exactly
I’ll need a nearby hospital to work in
and we need to start thinking about the mortgage
how much would we get if we sold our house?
how much could we realistically pay per month?
I’ve always wanted to build my own house
how would that work?
and I’ll need time to write
but I want to make sure Laura has time too
I guess it depends on whether we have another child
when should we try for one?
we need an area with good schools
and it’d be good to be near family
thankfully everyone is healthy at the moment
but you never know, do you?

Or perhaps
I could just feel the waves lapping at my feet
without grasping at them.
